In 1979 Watson and Veronica started their first furniture store.  What followed was decades serving customers in multiple locations ending with their well deserved retirement.  The next generation wanted to carry on their legacy, whilst making their own mark, and worked internationally on commercial and residential projects.  In 2022 the business was rebranded Berenice & Walter to honour these remarkable people. The name Berenice & Walter comes from the origins of Veronica & Watson.  Veronica originates from the Greek name Berenice and Watson from old English and Scottish origin, ‘Son of Walter’.  We hope to keep providing exceptional products and services to private and commercial customers for generations to come.

First and foremost, we create exceptional furniture.  Manufactured to project requirements.   We have designers and master craftsman working exclusively with sustainable and reclaimed materials, creating unique and bespoke pieces.  But we also have more modern commercial lines for residential and commercial projects.

From our own manufacturing to our award winning interior design, architect and construction partners, Berenice and Walter can create custom furniture lines and provide design, architecture and project management for Commercial or Residential products of any size.
